  1. What are the details?

    New and existing du customers can get one of the following offers for Data SIM Plans:
    a) Standalone Data Plan 
    b) Data and Device Instalment Plan

    Standalone Data Plan
    There are 3 Standalone Data Plans to choose from. The contract is for 12 months. 

    The monthly fees will vary depending whether you’re a new or an existing du customer. Once the contract expires, you can continue enjoying the Standalone Data Plan on a monthly basis with the same monthly fee.

    Device Instalment Plan 
    With this plan, we’re offering different types of devices at zero upfront. The contract for the device is for either 12 or 24 months.

  2. Who can get a Data SIM? And where can I get it from?

    Anyone can subscribe to any Data SIM plan. The monthly fees will vary depending whether you're a new or existing customer. You can visit any of our shops or fill out this form. 

  3. How do I check my data balance?

    a) SMS ‘Rewards’ to 1233.
    b) Visit mydata.du.ae.
    c) Use the du App.
    d) Log in to My Account.
    e) Contact your relationship manager.

  4. Can I upgrade or downgrade my Data SIM Plan anytime?

    Yes, the upgrade will be effective immediately. You can downgrade at any time as well, however you'll need to pay an early cancellation fee.

  5. I have a Data SIM and want to buy a device on instalment. What do I do?

    You can get a device with the Device Instalment Plan anytime to use with your standalone data plan. You will just need to sign another contract. 

  6. What happens if I cancel my plan before the contract ends?

    To cancel or downgrade your plan before your contract ends, you'll have to pay an early cancellation fee.

    Data SIM Plan (12-month contract)

    Standalone Foreclosure fees (24 months)
    3 GB PlanAED 50 for each remaining month in the contract.
    10 GB PlanAED 75 for each remaining month in the contract.
    50 GB PlanAED 125 for each remaining month in the contract.

    Device Instalment Plan (12 and 24-month plan)
    You'll pay Device instalment monthly fees for each remaining month in the contract. Please refer to the Device Instalment Plan FAQs for more details. 


  7. Can I get a Multi SIM with plan?

    Yes, you can get a Multi SIM with a monthly fee of AED 25 with any plan for each SIM (please refer to the Multi SIM FAQs for details).

  8. Which devices are available with the Data SIM Plans?

    The devices are always changing based on availability and the latest devices. The instalment fees will always be based on a 12 or 24-month period. Please check the devices here.

  9. What devices will be available with the Data SIM Plans?

Terms and Conditions +

The purchase of the Mobile Internet Plan (Offer) is subject to these Terms and Conditions. du reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions or to withdraw the Offer. du will publish these Terms and Conditions, and any revisions to them, on its website www.du.ae (du Website).

Eligible Customers

The Offer is available to any new or existing customer. Existing customers will be granted a discount when purchasing the 2nd plan on Mobile Internet plan (Plan) (please refer to FAQ for further information on relevant discounts). 

Offer Availibility

The Offer will be available with two categories of device (1st category is with a 12 months minimum term, 2nd is with a 24 months minimum term). Please refer to the FAQs for details of available devices along with its relevant installment plan.

Voice Services

Voice services are not available under the Offer.

Minimum Term

To benefit from the Offer, Customers must sign up to a Plan for a minimum of 12 months, depending on the Plan chosen (Minimum Term).

Upgrades

Upgrade is allowed during the contract tenure, but within the Offer of same type (Plan without device can only upgrade to Plan without device, Plan with device from a certain category can only upgrade to Plan with a device from the same category). Customer will get the benefits of the higher plan for the remaining months of contract period. (for example, if the Customer subscribes to a 12 months 3 GB Mobile Internet plan and upgrades to the higher Plan on Mobile Internet after 3 months of the Minimum Term remaining, 9 months of the Minimum Term will remain under the new Plan once upgrade activated).

Downgrades & Early Termination Fees

Downgrade of Mobile Internet Plan is not allowed from any channel during contract
tenure. After contract tenure the Downgrade will be allowed. Customer shall be entitled to terminate the Mobile Internet offer prior to the expiry of the contract tenure period upon payment of an early termination fee - Please refer to the frequently asked
questions relating to the relevant Plan on the du Website (FAQs) for details of the early termination fee applicable to the Mobile Internet Plan.

Suspension

If a Customer’s access to services under a Plan is suspended, the Customer will continue to be charged the relevant monthly fees under the terms associated with the relevant Plan and these Terms and Conditions during the suspension period.

Other Terms

The purchase of the Offer is subject to du’s General Terms and Conditions, Specific Terms and Conditions for Mobile Services and terms associated with the relevant Plan (copies of which can be found on the du Website). Where there is any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and those other terms, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail).
