Yes, you can order on our website from 1st of November 2019 at 8:01 AM. All the devices support an eSIM.
- How can I order?
Click order now and select the watch, size and colour.
If you’re a new customer, select the postplaid plan and choose either a 12 or 24-month contract. Then fill out the form with your details and credit card information. Enter your Emirates ID details and submit your order.
If you’re an existing customer, log in to ‘My Account’ and select the device you want. If auto-payment is active, click on ‘yes’ then confirm. If it’s not active, you’ll need to activate it first. The form will be pre-filled with the credit card details. All you’ll have to do is enter your Emirates ID details and submit your order.

Yes, you can simply add the handset instalment contract regardless of when you activate your extra data offer contract. Each contract will have a different expiry date.
- Can I modify my order?
No, you cannot modify you orders. You can only cancel it by sending an email to onlineshop@du.ae
- Why is my order rejected?
Since we sell the Apple watch on a zero upfront charge, we do a credit assessment on your ID through the Etihad Credit Bureau (owned by the UAE Federal Government) to check if you’re eligible for the same. Depending on the score that is given by ECB, the order is either approved or rejected
- What’s eSIM?
The eSIM, or in other words, the electronic SIM or embedded SIM, is a digital SIM that allows you to activate a plan without having to use a physical SIM card.
- What’s the eSIM service on Apple Watch?
Your iPhone and Apple Watch (GPS + cellular) will share the same phone number. Once the eSIM service is active on your Apple Watch (GPS + cellular) you’ll be able to make or receive calls on your Apple Watch, even when you’re away from your iPhone.
- Which models of Apple Watch cellular will be available?
Both Apple Watch cellular Series 3 and Series 5 will be available in store.
- Can I buy Apple Watch from any shop in the UAE and subscribe to the cellular service?

SMS eSIM to 1355 and you’ll receive an SMS informing you whether you’re eligible or not.
- How do I activate the Apple watch cellular service?

Yes, as long as you have the cellular service and you’re in a coverage area.
- Will my Apple Watch work if I’m travelling?
Unfortunately, Roaming doesn’t work on Apple Watch cellular. You’ll still be able to use most of the features, if it’s connected to your iPhone via Bluetooth.
- Can I only have du on my Apple Watch?
No, you’ll need to have both our primary SIM with a postpaid line and the Multi-SIM service.
- How much does the Multi-SIM service cost?
The monthly fee will be AED 25/month.
- Can I get Apple Watch cellular service, when I have a prepaid SIM as my primary SIM?
No, so far Apple Watch cellular service only works if you have a postpaid line.
- Can I use my Apple Watch with a postpaid Data SIM?
Yes, the Data SIM is eligible for Apple Watch.
- Can I covert to a prepaid line after I activate my Apple Watch cellular?
If you convert to a prepaid line after the activation, the cellular service won’t work and the service will deactivate.
- Can I get Apple Watch with an instalment plan?
Yes, you can get Apple Watch on a 12 or 24-month instalment.
- Can I get Apple Watch with an Easy Payment Plan from banks?
Yes, you can get your Apple Watch from our store and convert to EPP if you used your First Abu Dhabi Bank and Emirates NBD credit cards when purchasing the device.
- I have a Multi-SIM service, can I add my Apple Watch to it?
If you have a Multi-SIM service, you’ll need to deactivate your Multi-SIM service and subscribe to the new Apple Watch cellular service.
- If I get a call, will I be notified on both my iPhone and Apple Watch?
Yes, both your iPhone and Apple Watch will ring when you get an incoming call.
- When I get an SMS, will it appear on both my iPhone and Apple Watch?
The SMS will only appear on your primary SIM which is in your iPhone. However, if your iPhone is in Bluetooth proximity, then your Apple Watch can receive notifications.

You can either deactivate the service on the Apple Watch app, through Manage Account or by calling our customer care on 155 or by visiting any of our stores.

If your Apple Watch is lost or stolen, immediately unpair it from your iPhone and cancel your eSIM subscription.

There’s no minimum term, so you can cancel it anytime. The cancellation can be done on the Apple Watch app.
